I don't know exactly what model drive you are refering to (part number wise)... but Kirk Yates donated a bunch of 800mb drives from a system that he retired a few months ago. I was able to get the drives working using a standard SCSI adapter, but they were VERY slow and quite loud. I suspect the drives are desined to be used as part of an array, and not individually. Also, and I'm not 100% sure about this, I don't think there is a way to set the SCSI ID on the drive.
