That is the only place that I know of to see sample questions. The test consists of a few operating system questions, programmer tool questions and RPG (RPG 2, RPG 3 & RPG/ILE). Some questions are posed using code that requires you to know several things to get a correct answer. I will not discuss actual questions, so please don't ask. I have heard that the percentage of people that pass is fairly low (I heard 48% once but that was from another consultant that I do not know real well). I expect this is because you must know all flavors from RPG 2 (and the cycle) to RPG/ILE (and ILE concepts). In regard to Don's response concerning why you would want to take the exam: I still don't see any real demand for certification or even any reward for being certified. The Microsoft, Lotus, etc. certifications are bringing the topic up more. The firm I'm with has made a company-wide statement as to having everyone certified in their area of expertise. I am the only one certified on the AS/400 at this time though. There may be areas of the country or specific industries that require it more than others.
