I don't know how effective routers are for using as firewalls, we chose not to go this route. Instead, we built a sub $1000.00 PC, loaded Caldera's OpenLinux for e-mail and web serving, and TIS's Firewall Tookit, better known as FWTK for security. FWTK is a proxy server firewall and is available for free download if your requirements meet their license aggreement. They also have commercial apps available that are highly regarded in the firewall community. Jack Mullins Sun Industries, Inc. P.O.
