A couple things occurred to me: 1. Write an SQL program to CREATE TABLE, CREATE INDEX and CREATE VIEW. 2. Distribute the database saved in a save file. Restore the database from the save file into the user's library of choice. -----Original Message----- From: Charles Bartholomew Sent: Tuesday, August 25, 1998 11:26 To: brian; 'mail@uucp <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com>' Subject: Creating physical file without source fi Original Subject: Creating physical file without source file. I would like to distribute a product that will create physical files in the user's library of choice. I don't want to distribute source DDS or a prototype file. Is there any way to create a physical file dynamically from a program (no use of QINLINE) without having source in a source physical file. The file(s) need to be externally defined.
