Dave: A while back I searched for a Telnet emulator for my Palm Pilot and could not find anything. Care to share the shareware you are using and are you dialing direct PPP to the AS400 or via some sort of remote access server. I would love to have a telnet emulator for quick and dirty stuff from my Palm Pilot . Currenly we dial PPP to a WINNT RAS server. Thanks in advance for the info. You say that you are |developing an emulation product for the Win CE product. What about the |Palm computing platform (Palm Pilot, Palm III, etc.)? Bigger market |(currently), easier development (I've heard), etc. I currently use the |PPPro to dial into our AS/400 and use a shareware Telnet program to sign |on. It's great for quick system checks, etc. But, I'd like it even |more if it was 5250 compatible. | |Dave | |> ---------- |> From: LaGesse, Don[SMTP:DonL@FutureSoft.com] |> Sent: Friday, August 21, 1998 10:21 AM |> To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' |> Subject: Question on 5250 attribute values |> |> We are developing a 5250 emulation product that runs in the Windows CE |> operating environment and there seems to be some debate as to the |> correct values for certain 5250 blink attributes. |> |> 2A Red, blink |> 2B Red, reverse image, blink |> 2E Red, underscore, blink |> |> Can anyone confirm that these are the correct values for these |> attributes.
