  Yes but, especially if the Opti-Connect is handling multiple requests 
from multiple source applications knowing when the target program did 
what to the DB, within say a commit boundry is more important than what 
was going on in the source sometimes. Our application design usally 
includes a HDR that will have all the TP source information attached if 
it is even remorely possiable that the target will need it.  

  Is the Opti-Connect source object something that can be journaled as 
well.
