        I vote NO, the local journal should maintain the names of the 
components on that system that impacted that database.  However, is there
not a way to Journal the object on the source machine to show what what 
happened there ?  Maybe this is what you need to request, as I have not 
looked at OPTI-Connect software I am not sure but from an APPC view I 
would always want my target program that is doing the processing to the 
object to be the entry on the Journal Receiver.
