When our AS/400 black boxes roll in, they're bolted to a shipping pallet (which keeps them upright), with foam corners on the corners (which keep the corners from getting dented), and a cardboard box around the whole thing. I don't know if the CE has any drives to un-park (although most drives are self-parking these days)... If it was -my- S/36, I'd carefully move it to the new location (ie strapped upright in the back of a gentle minivan (a softer ride than a pickup truck)). Then I'd re-seat any cards in the thing. (I know the AS/400 has shipping bars that keep all of the cards from wiggling out of their sockets; you may not have them. Then I'd attach the cables, plug the thing in, cross my fingers, and press the Big Switch. --Paul E Musselman PaulMmn@ix.netcom.com >Well as for introductions I'm Lucas Haag i'm 15 years old and will be a >sophmore this fall at Republican Valley High School well now on to the >important stuff. > >With all of this talk going on I thought I should pose my problem while the >topic is hot.
