Web browser for 5250 terminals? -- MIDRANGE-L

Hi folks!

The question is:
  Is there a web browser available,
  which runs in an OS/400 interactive job
  using a 5250 terminal?

I know there was a discussion a long time ago and the answer was NO.
Is this still true?

Reason: A colleague asked for such a browser to be able to let
5250 users (still some 600 around here) access a intranet web
site. Restrictions like "text only" and "no JAVA" would be OK.
