Hi all, I currently use Rumba and this is the way I get an AS400 spool file onto the PC as a .TXT file. 1)CPYF (mainfile) to *print *char 2)CRTPF (generic file) at 133 long. 3)Look up printout information like Job/User/Number and note it. 4)CPYSPLF from the spool file to the (generic file) from step 2. 5)Do a Rumba file transfer to the PC as a .TXT file. Seems like it should/could be easier than this, am I missing something? Is there a better way? ---- Tim & Dana Truax... and Caleb 4 years old. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
