Optimum Block Size for Disk Reads -- MIDRANGE-L

On the CISC box, we used to determine the number of records which would fit
into a 32k buffer and use this in an OVRDBF to optimize the number of
records read per physical I/O.  The buffer size changed on the RISC boxes
but I can't find the note I made on the new size.  Would someone refresh my
memory please?
