I have a question concerning error checking techniques using display files. Currently, I can utilize a custom message file and message subfile to display the error messages. This works fine. But another technique that I do not really utilize is the VALUES keyword in DDS. If an invalid value is entered I get an error message that displays something like "Invalid value entered. Valid values in message help." I like the immediacy of the VALUE message, but the error message is of little or no value. Can this message but customized? Thank you in advance for your help.
