John,

We use a command to execute overrides and then run the CRTRPGMOD command. We
use duplicate files to allow logical blocking. We are following IBM's
recommendations to improve file I/O performance when using READE or READ. This
is in I/O modules. We see about a 33% increase in performance. It seems like
support could/should be built into the compiler.

Quick question. I have a program which needs use multiple access paths
into the same file. Is there a way to use the same file on two
different F-specs. I know how to rename the Record and how to use
OVRDBF to allow multiple accesses to the same file.

Do I have to create a dummy PF to allow the program to compile ?
