Could be. I'm on V3R7. Or maybe I misspelled it (typing from home). Anyway, it's the command that retrieves the exports from a compiled module and writes the binder language source to a member in QSRVSRC. This member then becomes the guiding force for creating the signatures generated by service programs. This is what allows you to have multiple signatures for the same service program With multiple signatures, previously compiled programs don't have to be recompiled just because you added a new procedure to an existing service program (unless you want to use that new procedure in the old program). It all works great when you write your binder source correctly. I'm just having trouble getting the utility that is supposed to write the source for you to work properly. If you write it by hand (or rearrange the output from RTVBNDSRC), no problem. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong or is it the RTVBNDSRC command? Doesn't anyone else use this thing? Where's Jing when you need her? ericadelong@pmsc.com wrote: > > Ok, maybe I missed something, but I can't seem to find the RTVBNDSRC > command on V3R2.
