Where I just started working, they guy here had purchased 2 Compaq DeskPros from Insight (so they come as "consumer/home PC's software-wise...). I DID run through the "create the image disks" deal so I had a copy of all software on the PC, JUST IN CASE... I go to use what you describe, and find MSQUERY not installed. I hit the MS Office setup deal and it starts and GUESS WHAT ? It asks me to insert the MS Offiice CD (!!!!!!) NOT one of the diskettes that I "need(ed) to make in order to reinstall pre-loaded software... Luckily we have some Gateway's that COME with ALL CD's and used that (and NO, I don't normally "copy" software but was in a jam and don't consider this copying since the STUPID software was NOT completely "loaded" in the pre-load deal...) Fun, fun, fun...
