PC tool to access 400 data -Reply

Ash,

I use Microsoft Excel to get at the AS/400 data through ODBC.  It utilizes
MSQUERY which is not installed by default on MSOFFICE.  Only caveat is
if you are running 16bit Excel (or other app) you need a 16 bit ODBC, if
32 bit, then you need a 32 bit ODBC.

Works great for me.

Does anyone know of a PC, maybe GUI based, tool that can be used to 
access and update AS400 data ?
I know the "400 Group" recently presented seminars on how to do this 
with certain packages but I did not have the need to know then. Now I do
