I have a client that recently lost the loadsource disk on a 9402-200. They had never had to restore the system and asked me to do it. All they new was they had a Monthly option 21 save and what they called a daily. I restored the system with all the data from the option 21 save. then found the source for the daily save. The daily turns out to be a save using *ALLUSR. I know the 21 does savsys, savcfg, savlib *nonsys, savdlo *all and the sav cmd with its option, I also have done restores using the appropriate restore cmds. What I haven't tried is doing a restore lib *IBM or *ALLUSR from a *NONSYS save. Can it be done that way? Recovery would be cut by several hours if I could. -- Kirk Goins Blue Heron Consulting,Inc 2418 SE Burnside Rd #321 Gresham, OR 97080 503-618-1493 EMAIL kgoins@ix.netcom.com kirk_goins@compuserve.com +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
