Alan,

Support for PPP was added to OS/400 starting with V4R2. So you'd have to move
up to V4R2 to get it. The configuration for PPP is done through Operations
Navigator so you'll need to have the hardware for that as well to use PPP. (But
it sounds like you already have it).
