Eric, time to find a better employer.   If yours doesn't care about
keeping you technically educated, it's time to find one that does.

Further, if you've not been on vacation in 13 years, I recommend
Aruba...the beaches are GREAT...and you never know what's going to fly up
from Brazil to grace them....:)

My guess is that your raises have also sucked a bit...  Why do you think
there's so much turnover in our industry?  Employers demand long hours,
pay as little as they can and give raises that don't keep up with
inflation...heck, in my book that more than justifies job hunting...
