The netid on the PC should be the same network ID defined in the AS400 network attributes. (DSPNETA). This parameter only makes a difference if connection via SNA (or Anynet I believe), if the client is doing IP, then it makes NO difference. I have 2 pc's running this and the only difference between |them is that 1 has "APPN" in the netID field and one has the name of the |system in the same field. Apparently there is no difference. | |My question is, who is correct. | |Andrew Brott |Three Creeks Computing, Inc. | |+--- || This is the Midrange System Mailing List! || To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. || To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. || To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. || Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com |+--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
