  • Subject: How to apply the CA PTF's to the PC?

Hi,

I would like to update the PC running Client Access v3r1m3 running PC
console in '95 OSR2. I have applied PTF service pack SF48155 to a
9401-150 running 4.2. When I run CA Install Service Pack program I
get an error saying "A Managing system needs to be configured. Check
Version cannot continue." I get the same message when I run the
program Check Service Pack Level. When I go into CA Properties in
the Service Tab the Managing system is blank. The manual "CA for Win
95/NT Setup" says on page 37-1 that I should select a new managing
system from the managing system list. The list is empty. If I bring
up the console and select the Communication pull down menu and then
select Configuration the System name is grayed out. If I change from
Console to Display the System name is not grayed out but it's empty
and doesn't let me key in the System name. Nothing happens when I
hit refresh. I then change it back to Console.

Does anyone know how to apply the CA PTF's to the PC?

Thank you,

Gary Kuznitz
