  • Subject: QTWCHKSP API & Spell Checking

Bob,

QTWCHKSP does not require OfficeVision/400.

QTWCHKSP does require dictionaries, but dictionaries can be ordered
by way of the product 57xx-DCT and/or be user created using the OS/400
Create Spelling Aid Dictionary (CRTSPADCT) command.

I personally don't know of an alternative spell checker, but that
doesn't mean one isn't out there somewhere.

I'll leave the Unix and/or Windows 95/NT question to others.
