        We are running notes 4.5 and  most of our   windpws 3.1 clients are
using a product called
"Trumpet  Winsock".  I beleieve it is shareware and available from various
sites on the Web. It is fairly reasonably priced  $20 U.S per user or
various blocks and site licensing.
