Denis, When you call the QWCRDTAA API allocate say 2048 bytes for the Receiver variable parameter, set Length of receiver variable to 2048, set Starting position to -1, and set Length of data to 2000. After calling the API the Length of data returned value in the receiver variable will tell you the size of the *dtaara. I tried the API >QWCRDTAA but it can only retreive the content of the data area, not the >number of bytes with which it was created. I also tried DSPOBJD with no >luck. > > Any idea? > >Denis Robitaille > +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
