You can set up SLIP or PPP support over a v24 port, see CFGTCPPTP command.
However you will need one comm line per dialup user.  If you have an
ethernet card inthe AS400, you can get a RAS server (I like the Quick Stream
Pro, supports up to 3 dial in lines per unit and ypu can use as many units
as required).  On the PC side, just a TN5250 client and a TCP/IP stack.  If
you are running Win95/98, the IP stack is built into the OS, just config
dial up networking to do the dialing, then start up the TN client, point it
to the IP address of the 400 and away you go.  I like to use US Robotic
modems on both sides of the connection, they are cheep and work well,
although any Async moden should work.  Let me know if you need more detail.
