As you say, Softcopy _is_ the manuals. I.e., all those 'whitebooks' that took up all that shelf space. For most licensed products there's not much else to go to. There may a 'redbook' on these products. They're _also_ available at <http://as400bks.rochester.ibm.com> where the white books can be found. Also, for $250 per annum you can get a subscription to the redbooks on CD, just like the Softcopy. The next release will be in PDF format, I think instead of the Library Reader (BookManager) format. These products don't seem to have wide enough use to get coverage from such as Midrange Computing or News/400.
