Glenn, I'm jumping into this thread a little late so sorry if I'm not timely! I've got Windows 3.1 & Windows 3.11 (WFW) running client access through Ethernet talking to an AS/400 running V4.2 and would be happy to give you a hand. As for the TCP/IP stack. I simply used the IBM TCP/IP that came with Client Access. It works like a charm and doesn't interfere with my IPX protocol that all the PCs are running to talk to my Novell server. As long as you've got the latest version of C/A - which you should under 4.2, you are all set. If you have specific questions, I'd be glad to help further.
