  • Subject: FastFax and EZ/Print working together (was RE: Fax from the AS/400 Software)

All this talk about fax software has got me remembering a problem that I
left a few weeks ago.

We are using EZ/Print to print POs, and now the customers would like to
fax these. I read that EZ/Print and FastFax work slick together in
EZ/Print's documentation, and this company already had FastFax, so I was
happy.

Then I get the instructions to get them to work together. Looks like
EZPrint is looking for a SPECIFIC outq that FF uses, and this company
just happened to name the Fax Outq something else. So, needless to say,
it doesn't work.

I have called EZPrint and they haven't returned my phone calls, probably
thinking its a FF problem, but it's not, because it seems pretty clear
that EZPrint is looking for a specifically named OUTQ.

Has anyone had this problem and solved it by means other than renaming
the fax outq?

Thanks.
