Is this a technical term that one must have a Master's Degree in IS to
comprehend?  I'm usually discouraged from making "Bad Sounds", particularly
after eating pizza ;-)!

Seriously though, shop floor PC's are rarely equipped to handle the request.
If you're running without a sound card (which most are), you cannot enable an
"event" to generate a sound, AFAIK, unless you wrote the HLLAPI program
yourself.  You might contact the HLLAPI vendor, but I think you may be SOL...
