Rob, Would you elaborate on some of the alternatives. Perhaps even to the extent of some sample code. So far the prospects are bleak, to say the least. However, I am certainly getting responses. That is the tremendous value of this mailing list...somewhere out there, several people have been there, done that, and worn out the T-shirt. While here, I would like to thank everyone for their responses. Just because I don't like the answer, doesn't mean that it's not the right one. But I am still looking for that silver bullet. I do promise, tho, not to take up too much of your valuable time. But if for some reason, (perhaps you are forbidden to modify vendor code), you chose not to implement this situation there are alternatives. They require extensive programming and involve the use of work management job API's and the like. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
