I'm sure that Microsoft would like you to think so, but NT Terminal Server is
just another proprietary solution, much like OS/400, MVS, etc. (Isn't it erie 
how
much like traditional "mainframe" architecture Citrix is?).   The lure of JAVA 
is
it's (alleged) portability across architectures.  The lure of NT Terminal Server
is "Microsoft Everywhere".  Those of us who are experienced co-existing with
multiple disparate platforms are not likely to view NT Terminal Server as a
realistic alternative to JAVA based solutions.
