Much of it has been released for Win95 as dribbleware, but there are a few significant things that are new. The 32 bit file system is supposedly much improved with smaller and more efficient sectors due to the increased number of addresses. The program loader processing is also improved. Win98 will load a word aligned program object and run it in place instead of performing a memory to memory copy. The trade rags say this greatly improves program initialization performance.
