If you have OfficeVision/400, there is a solution:  check the OV/400
programmer's manual.  It copies the print queue to an OV/400 formatted file
(FFTDCA).  This can be sent from the AS/400 via SMTP mail to The Internet.

The source code is given in COBOL (Just to prove they can do it, I
suppose); and it works.
