Well...  when -I- thought of it (a hidden parameter) -I- thought it was
pretty neat!

And it was quick to think of and quick to implement and easy for following
programmers to understand.

Uh, I -have- left enough 'fancy' code around in the routing programs to
keep everyone mystified for years.  (:
