This is one area where using dates prior to Oct 15 1582 becomes rather interesting. If you were actually alive in 0300 you would have experienced Feb 29 0300 as back then the century rules did not apply. All centuries were leap years -- this is the significant change that took place when the Gregorian calendar was put into place. Less significant (but potentially confusing) is that the day after October 4 1582 (Julian) was October 15 1582 (Gregorian).
