  • Subject: CISC to RISC Save

This coming weekend I want to replace my normal backup with one that
will be used in the initial load of my new RISC system (side-by-side).
Our weekend backup is run unattended so running the upgrade menu option
of QP150 isn't vary workable. I'm planning on using the following
sequence in a CLP.

        RTVSYSINF LIB(QUPGRADE)
        SAVLIB QUPGRADE
        SAVSYS
        SAVLIB *ALL
        SAVDLO

On the new RISC system start the restore from the menu option or with
UPDSYSINF UNGRADE *ALL. Should the first 2 steps in the save do it for
me?
