Mani:

I'm running into the same problem in a Year 2000 remediation project that I am
managing. This site has had no change management, no internal IS staff, and
development on a separate box in a way that I can find the source member from
them object header.

The simple solution would have been to use DSPOBJ or DSPPGM to find the source
member for each production object. Comparing last change dates would have
given us a warm fuzzy about the match. This system was so bad that we are now
looking at decompiler tools....

 Hello:

I am in the process of investigating if a group of *PGM and *FILE objects
are synchronized with their corresponding source members. Apart from
playing with the create/change dates, is there any other way for
 accomplishing this task?

The owner of the objects says that it went through proper 'Change
Management' procedures. However, being a bit paranoid, I want to be
absolutely sure that I am using the correct Sources.

 Any pointers is appreciated.

 Regards,
 ...Mani
