RE: 6501 IOP

Tom,
What are you trying to run with the 6501 ?

If it is a 9337 here are the listed prereqs:
PREREQUISITES:  9406 Models D, E or F, 9406 DASD Controller feature
number 6501; OS/400 V2R2 9337 Hardware Update (#1982), or OS/400
V2R3. (This was from the September 1993 announcement letters.)

If you are driving tape(s), you may need 3.1 .
