Brad, Oh...You'd love working for me I am the nicest guy in the world! And anyway I don't like management anymore, I am pursuing my love as a "developer/analyst". I am currently in hardcode HELL (stuff like STAT COMP 'CA' and CLT# IFEQ 25312...in mainline stuff).... The person that did this stuff should be summarily executed. If you would see it you wouldn't believe it! As for commenting... I am referring to basically identifying what a particular subroutine is supposed to do with a few well chosen words. PS) I have never fired anyone for hardcoding or not commenting (however I think I am able to spot 'hardcoders' and 'non-commenters' during the interview phase), and if you would see some of the code that has been under my authority in the past you would kiss my ring. :) Tim Truax Stone, Brad V (TC) wrote: > Gee, Tim.
