We have a fair number of 38 queries and 38 DFU's on our system.
Because of the table support in 38 query, the queries cannot be
rewritten in AS/400 query. If we do not purchase the 38 utilities
for V4R2, can we still run the DFU's and Queries - even though we
cannot change them? The 38 utilities are not year 2000 compliant so
I've been told so I'd rather spend the money elsewhere. The plan is
to rewrite them in code, SQL or something else rather than continue
with 38 stuff but this will probably not be complete by the time we
go to 4.2 unless we cannot run them. Does anyone have experience
with this?
