• Subject: CHKOBJ/CHKDLO for IFS stream files

Hello all,

I'm looking for a CL counterpart to the CHKOBJ and CHKDLO commands for
IFS stream files, and not having any luck. The closest thing I could find
was to use the CHKIN command, because that would tell me if the file existed
or not. Unfortunately, according to the IFS manual, CHKIN is not valid in
all of the file systems.
The only other option I can see is to write a small C program that uses
the stat() function to get information about the file, and call it from the
CL program.
   Any other ideas?
