Re: UDATE moving to 8 digits???

Both return the same date from the system functions 
but
UDATE  is the original  that  gives a  6 digit date 
*DATE  is the 8 digit version to support the  century 

Likely  you will see a lot of UDATE to * DATE changes  
during Y2K conversions.
