Hi!
I am getting a
"Communication Link Failure COMM RC=0X3"
error when trying to connect using an ODBC driver to a V4R1 system
running Client Access V3R1.
Here is the only data I have found:
APAR#: II09468
COMMON PROBLEMS WITH THE 32 BIT ODBC DRIVER
___________________________________________
Problem:
"I can't connect with the ODBC driver"
Resolution:
See II09599 ODBC Troubleshooting: Section 1
Unable to Connect to the AS/400; Section 3.1
Connection Errors.
Things to Check on the AS/400 System:
Communication Link Failure COMM RC=0XC
Communication Link Failure COMM RC=0X3
APAR#: II09599 doesn't have anything on the subject so the question is:
How do I "check this on the AS/400 system"!?
I can usually connect just fine, but on some multithreaded applications
it just throws this error :-(.
Best regards, Juris.
