Bill, You can specify *SECLVL for most types of compile. This will cause the second level message information to be included in your compile listing. The default value for OPTION is *noseclvl. Just use crtrpgpgm xxx/xxx OPTION(*seclvl), or CRTLF xxx/xxx OPTION(*seclvl).
