IMHO the test shows if a candidate is well rounded. And meets a minimal
level of programming knowledge
Since the candidate usually does not post a raw score, But just states that
they passed. I would probably look for an individual that had the
certification and then do some in depth questioning of the candidate, to
determine what their real life experience level is. I.e. just able to pass
of one that passed easily and is at a higher level. Just possessing a
certification does not make that candidate the right person for a shop or
contract.  It is just a starting point.
