  • Subject: cascading auth change in IFS

Has anyone written code they'd be willing to share that cascades an
authority change down an entire subtree of the IFS?

I've been using CHGAUT on a per object basis, but that's getting
pretty monotonous. Word from IBM is that we're not the only ones
looking for this function.

Ideally I'd like to enter something like:
XCHGAUT '/QIBM/UserData/*' 'USERX' '*RW'
to give USERX read/write authority to all objects under /QIBM/UserData.

TIA,
Darin
