Hello Stephen,

I can't check the verity of my statements at the moment but ...

The options on the System Request Menu are invoked by commands stored in a
CPXnnnn message in QCPFMSG. There
is a good chance that the Operational Assistant Menu operates in a similar way.
 If you can find the
appropriate CPXnnnn message you can change the commands e.g., WRKJOB to DSPJOB.

I think option 75 takes you to a menu so you could revoke authority to that
menu.

Option 80 does a Disconnect Job (DSCJOB) command so you could revoke authority
to that also. That should not
stop the disconnect on device error from working. Although why would you want
to stop users from disconnecting
their jobs temporarily?

If you are concerned about these options you probably want to do something
about the SysReq menu also.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
