  • Subject: RE: TN5250 through a firewall?

David,
I've been using Wall Data's Rumba 95/NT for the AS/400 product for 6
months now with no problems. I had to open a call with them at first
because the session would freeze up through our firewall (Raptor on
Solaris), but they came up with a fix and it's solid as a rock.

        Folks:
Does anyone know of a *GOOD* TN5250 client that will work
through a
        firewall?

So far CA/400 and Synapse won't work... CA gets as far as the
firewall's userid prompt, but won't ask for the password, and
SYNAPSE
        doesn't even do that.

Mochasoft's shareware TN5250 client works, but it's not nearly
as
        robust as I'd like.

        Thanks!
        david
        David,
