I attempted to setup a new model 150 on Saturday with a two port IPCS and the firewall setup. Interesting that the firewall setup is performed using a TCP/IP connection, yet on a new 400 with IPCS, you don't have a TCP/IP connection until you setup the Network server. Firewall docs list the commands that you can run from green screen command line, so I ran these commands: CRTLINxxx (for token internal token ring line) CRTLINETH (for port 1 of IPCS) CRTLINETH (for port 2 of IPCS) ADDTCPIFC (Add TCP interface for unused TCPIP address) CRTNWSxxx (Create network server type *BASE, reference 3 lines created earlier, and assign IP addresses to each) INSTNWSAPP (Install Network Server app for firewall, I could be wrong on exact command) Problem is once everything is started, I try to ping the secure port of the firewall and there is no response. The docs never told me to add a TCPIP interface for either of the IP addresses on Port 1 or 2. Is that a step that I missed? I can't use my browser to connect to the firewall either to continue setup or change configs. Firewall setup manual is more like a booklet, is it that simple?!?
