The only "less than" desirable project I can imagine is one that has been under estimated, under financed and the expectation level is beyond reality. Another may be one with responsibility and no authority. Let's see .... a written statement attesting to the fact that I did not create the situation where no one gains would be a good starter. ;-) Oh, how about the daily wearing of "ribbons of shame" for those that would create a "less than" desirable work environment or project? (cheekier yet) The bottom line is that as long as all parties can feel like they have satisfaction at the end of the project, everyone wins. If a particular party does not feel that way, they either did not have their expectations in line with reality or they lack negotiating skills. If you could give us some particulars (without naming names) a better response may be given. If it's something like 70 hour work weeks for a year and a project facilitator that goes ballistic on the hour. All I'd ask for beyond the usual pay/perks is thirty minutes. Just a mere thirty minutes ....alone ..... with them ...... in a sound proof room ..... each week. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
